HOW DO I ACCESS THE LIBRARY’S RESOURCES?

Checking out materials-
Your MCMURRY ID is your PASSPORT to the Jay-Rollins Library and the APL, ACU, HSU & HPU libraries! We are a part of the Abilene Library Consortium and have a shared catalog. The BARCODE on the back is your library number. Please stop by the Circulation desk so that ACTIVATE your BARCODE.

ON CAMPUS ACCESS TO CATALOG & DATABASES: No log-in is necessary

OFF CAMPUS ACCESS TO CATALOG & DATABASES THROUGH:
http://www.mcm.edu/newsite/web/library/

No log-in is necessary to use the CATALOG.
DATABASE access requires a log-in through EZ Proxy:
• Select DATABASES
• Select BASIC SEARCHING
• Open any database you choose to
• The system will ask you for your McMurry network ID and password (last name. first name and your PW)
• Once the database is open you may use it or any other of the databases as long as your browser is open.

COURIER:
The Library is part of the Abilene Library Consortium. This allows our patrons to borrow material from area libraries. The courier will be running several days a week this summer. You can request books be delivered here from the other libraries or go to the library and pick up the material yourself.

YOU MUST HAVE AN ACTIVATED BARCODE TO CHECK OUT MATERIALS FROM THE CONSORTIUM LIBRARIES.
