Through the efforts of the Abilene Library Consortium with generous support from the Dodge Jones Foundation, the McMurry yearbooks, the Totems, 1924-2000, 2004-2006, have been digitized and are available for viewing at the Portal to Texas History website http://texashistory.unt.edu/

Enter the Researchers’ Portal and search under either McMurry or Totem. In the upper right, you may change the sort to Date (Newest or Oldest) to arrange the volumes in date order. McMurry has not yet published 2001-2003. The 2007 yearbook was not available in time to be included in this phase of the project.

The Prickly Pear (yearbook for ACU), the Bronco (yearbook for HSU), the Lasso (yearbook for Howard Payne), and the Community Bulletin (Abilene Public Library) have also been digitized and are available at the same website.

Efforts are well underway to establish the Abilene Library Consortium hosted website for the West Texas Digital Archives. This will provide the means for McMurry to add the 2007 Totem and future volumes.
