McMurry Students participated in an epidemiology activity to get a feel for how public health officials learn about and track down the origin of an outbreak. Twelve students who are interested in health careers solved several scenarios involving communicable diseases, environmental hazards, and bacterial contaminations. The table with the highest score was presented with a set of kites, as getting outside and getting active is an important part of staying healthy!
We appreciate the efforts of Drs. St. John and Kamrudin, and look forward to more collaboration in the future!
