Have a Spook-tacular Time at Halloween Fest

Hello, fellow War Hawks! As the enchanting season of Halloween draws near, it’s that delightful time of year when McMurry’s RSL will team up with other campus organizations to proudly host Halloween Fest: an exciting gathering for both students and faculty alike! So, why not stop by and showcase your most creative and captivating costume? Expect a festive atmosphere filled with an array of delightful crafts, delicious food, engaging games, and much more at the Mabee Room inside the lively campus center. The event will unfold from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m., so be sure to swing by and immerse yourself in a truly spook-tacular experience. Make sure not to go batty while you try to figure out what you want to do first!

Another thing happening I wanted to highlight is if you’re in search of a hauntingly good classic Halloween film, the charming Paramount Theatre in the heart of Downtown Abilene is presenting Scream, masterfully directed by Wes Craven, with stunning performances by Matthew Lillard and Rose McGowan. The Paramount Theatre, with its captivating architecture and intriguing ambiance, provides the perfect backdrop to enjoy a chilling cinematic experience. Don’t get too scared and spill your popcorn or drink on your bestie! Different events, such as haunted houses, are around the Abilene area, as well!
