Making A Difference: McMurry Esports 24 Hour Extra Life Stream

McMurry Esports is excited to announce its annual Extra Life 24-Hour stream. The stream will run from 12:00 p.m. Friday, November 3rd to 12:00 p.m. Saturday, November 4th on our Twitch channel. Extra Life is a program of Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals. Donations from the stream will help fund critical treatments, healthcare services, pediatric medical equipment, and charitable care. An opportunity to give back to our youth rarely arises, yet Esports has provided a fantastic opportunity for just that. Whether you are a gaming fan, a board game fan, or just a fan of streaming in general the 24-hour stream will be a massive help to the outstanding organization that is the Children’s Miracle Network.

The lineup for this year’s stream includes:

  • Student and Staff games of Dungeons and Dragons.
  • Two podcast-style chats about Generational differences and the ongoing SupportULT chat.
  • Hearthstone lessons and games featuring myself and the rest of the Hearthstone team.
  • A game of Jeopardy to be played with E-Sports members.
  •  A two-hour session of Minecraft with team members.
  • A massive WWE 2k23 game session.
  • A digital doodling session and a dungeon-building session for future Dungeon Masters.
  • A 2 AM Spooky session with myself and other members where we will attempt to not be scared while playing scary games in the early hours of the night.
  • A game of Catan with members of the E-Sports team.

The schedule has not been finalized and many more events are set to be added.
