The housing sign-up week is just around the corner, have you thought about which dormitory will be your new home for the 2021-2022 school year? As most returning students may know, there are three residence halls and one apartment facility on McMurry\u2019s campus. McMurry has a lot to offer. Living on campus is a great way to become a part of the McMurry community!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>While living on the McMurry campus, you\u2019ll find that your neighbors are no longer strangers\u2014they become like family! The relationships you build with them will last a lifetime and building those relationships will be one of the most fun and memorable times of your life. Having a roommate is a totally different experience and one of the most memorable ones.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp;Just in case you aren\u2019t too sure what the perfect fit for you will be, here is some information on the housing facilities that are available on campus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><u>Martin<\/u><\/strong><br>Martin is a two-story all-female residence hall with suite-style baths. All rooms are double occupancy. Martin offers a spacious community kitchen that allows for you to cook your own meals and bake cookies, laundry facilities that are super convenient, and a computer\/study room on the first floor along with a large lobby featuring a ping-pong table, billiards table and big screen TV that allows for many hangouts with friends and different events that the residential assistants put together for the student.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><u>Hunt<\/u><\/strong><br>Hunt is a two-story all-male residence hall with suite-style baths. All rooms are double occupancy except for a limited number of triple rooms. Hunt offers a spacious community kitchen that allows for you to cook your own meals, laundry facilities that are super convenient and a computer\/study room on the first floor, and a large community room featuring a ping-pong table, billiards table and big screen TV.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><u>Gold Star<\/u><\/strong><br>Gold Star is a four-story co-ed residence hall with suite-style baths. Rooms are double or single occupancy except for a limited number of triple rooms. Gold Star offers two study lounges, a spacious community kitchen that allows for you to cook your own meals, laundry facilities that are super convenient, and a large lobby featuring a big screen TV and a ping-pong table.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><u>University Apartments<\/u><\/strong><br>The apartments are a co-ed community for upperclassmen. Each apartment includes a furnished living room; kitchen with stove\/oven, refrigerator and microwave; a furnished private bedroom for each student and one or two bathrooms. The community features patios and balconies for residents to socialize outside as well as a courtyard area. On-site laundry is available.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Now that more information has been presented you will be able to think about it and weigh all your options. As the days move closer to housing week and more information has been sent out you will know exactly which hall you would like to apply to for next school year.
