The Building STEM Success project was funded in October of 2020. This Title V project has three primary components:
- Development of the STEM Student Success Center (S3C) to provide academic and personal support for STEM/Pre-Health students, including a 4-week Summer Bridge for STEM/Pre-Health students who need to be calculus-ready for the initial fall semester and ongoing tutoring and academic support
- A new major in Engineering Physics and a faculty member to develop and launch the program
- Facilities improvement to support the new major (in the science building) and supporting STEM courses (in the Cooke building)
This project is a $3M project taking place over 5 years.
