Congratulations are in order for Dr. T.J. Boyle, who was awarded tenure and promotion to Associate Professor by the Board of Trustees this past week.  He has made his mark on our campus through his teaching, service, and research.  His experience at Blinn Junior College prepared him to step to the plate as a major contributor to the vision and future direction of our campus.  Over the past few years he has been an instrumental cog in the process of building a new general education program for all students, one that is centered in sensible ideas that can be easily implemented.  He has also taught in our Freshman Seminar program and been part of other initiatives across campus for the good of students and our future.  Now, he’s wrangling crabs in west Texas lakes with his research team, and big things are in store for him.
