Construction begins!  One component of the Title V grant award is devoted to improving our instructional spaces.  This summer we are updating the biochemistry teaching and research spaces, as well as adding more hoods to the organic chemistry lab.

As you can see, there was quite a bit of demolition, and the asbestos abatement has begun.  We will be replacing casework (scheduled for delivery soon) as well as flooring and lighting.

We are very excited about these upgrades, as we believe they will transform the teaching and research taking place in the biochem areas.
