The Title V staff joined other groups on campus to participate in the Mercado, a Spanish Heritage month activity. Our booth served Aguas Frescas – fruit drinks – limonada (lemon/lime), fresa (strawberry), and Horchata (pronounced or-CHAh-tah) a popular Mexican drink made out of rice, milk, vanilla, and cinnamon. It was fun to watch our students try new flavors.  The Mercado was well attended and everyone enjoyed the event!
