The Financial Aid Team, assisted by members of S3C, hosted a financial literacy program on the evening of April 7, 2022.  18 students attended and learned about loan repayment, ways to adjust payment plans, and the consequences of loan delinquency and default.   The final portion of the talk focused on how students could build a credit history and some tips on budgeting.

Kahoot games allowed for audience interaction, and lots of prizes were won by participants.  We had great sponsors, including Crunch Fitness, Mad Coffee, Abilene Zoo, Pizza Hut, Chik-fil-a, Domino’s Pizza, Avon, Plunder Design, Surprises Gift Shop, Mister Car Wash, McKay’s Bakery, Pamala’s Salon and Spa, and Ditzy Daisy Boutique.

Hopefully, this is the first of a regular series of talks on money matters important to graduating seniors.
