S3C staff held an open house at mid-day on September 3 to meet students and let them know our office is open and ready to help.

Dr. Rachel Montesdeoca (Advising Specialist), Tammy Werner (Professional Tutor), and Erica Medina (STEM/Pre-Health Career Specialist) were all on hand to greet students, pass out popsicles, and tell students about S3C services.

The STEM Student Success Center, S3C, provides an array of services to McMurry students enrolled in a major in either science division–Science and Mathematics or Human Wellness and Health Science.  There are over 18 majors included in these two divisions.  S3C staff provide academic coaching, career coaching and preparation, and tutoring services.

Located next to the tennis courts and on the campus side of the street across from the student apartments, S3C offices are open 8-5, M-F or by appointment.  Staff are meeting with students face to face or by Teams.
