Tammy Werner, our Professional Tutor, went to work this morning to create a welcome sign for   the STEM Student Success Center.

This center provides a comprehensive set of services for STEM students at McMurry–from   academic coaching to tutoring and career preparation.  The S3C is a significant component of   our Building STEM Success Title V grant, and will launch this fall.

Rachel Montesdeoca, Tammy Werner, and Erica Medina will be developing support   programming useful for STEM students from the time they attend a SOAR session to graduation.   These ladies are very talented and we are very excited about their plans for the future.

The S3C is located in the Old Main South offices, next to the tennis courts.  If you are a student who wants math tutoring, time to discuss academic goals and plans, or interested in planning for internships or careers, come by and see us!
