Fiesta del Feugo Fires Up

On Monday, January 27th, McMurry Capture partnered with Makona Fraternity to bring Fiesta del Fuego to campus. A new spring event to go hand in hand with Agua Fiesta, a fall McMurry event. Those who attended enjoyed food from Pichi’s Taco Truck, music, and a photo opportunity to promote the upcoming Makona Film Festival. 

Makona Fraternity brought out their new letters for a Makona Film Festival promotion after debuting them last week at the Greek Life pledge check-in. Some of Makona’s pledges even took the opportunity to snap some photos at the set, some of which will be available in the yearbook at the end of this year! The event was also sponsored by the Campus Activities Board who provided some supplies. 

Overall, Fiesta del Fuego and Agua Fiesta hope to return next year to make an even bigger splash on McMurry student life.
