Meet the two newest members of the O’Connell team! Shawna will be a senior this year and is working on her honors thesis in the lab. She will be measuring ATP usage in muscle cells in response to different environmental conditions. In order to complete her project, we needed to add a new cell line to our lab – HSkMC human skeletal muscle cell line. Shown here is Shawna with her new cell line. We are excited to have both new members in Dr. O’Connell’s lab!
